Dental Hygienist Responsibilities:

As a Dental Hygienist in Cranston, RI, you will:

Conduct Routine Dental Cleanings & Exams – Perform thorough cleanings, remove plaque and tartar buildup, and assess patients’ overall oral health.
Educate Patients on Oral Hygiene & Preventive Care – Provide personalized guidance on brushing, flossing, and maintaining optimal oral health to prevent cavities and gum disease.
Take X-Rays & Assist with Diagnostics – Capture and process dental X-rays to aid in diagnosing oral health conditions and collaborate with the dentist in treatment planning.
Work Closely with Dentists & Team Members – Assist dentists during procedures, ensure seamless patient care, and maintain a supportive and professional clinical environment.
Maintain Accurate Patient Records & Assist with Administrative Tasks – Document patient history, treatment plans, and progress while supporting office operations when needed.

Requirements:

To be considered for the Dental Hygienist in Cranston, RI role, candidates must have:

Active Rhode Island Dental Hygienist License – Must hold a valid and up-to-date dental hygiene license to practice in the state of Rhode Island.
Professional Experience in Dental Hygiene – Previous experience working as a dental hygienist in either temporary or permanent roles, demonstrating proficiency in performing cleanings, examinations, and preventive care.
Exceptional Communication & Patient Care Skills – Ability to educate patients on oral health, provide compassionate care, and build strong relationships to ensure a positive dental experience.
